Job Title: Porter
Location: NETCARE WATERFALL CITY HOSPITAL
Closing Date: 17 July 2013
Job Purpose:
- Transport patients and runs errands for the Hospital
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting patients arriving / leaving the hospital to get in and out of vehicles
- Portering service between wards
- Delivering internal memorandums to the doctors and wards
- Assist patients (i.e. patient’s luggage and wheel chairs to the wards)
- Deliver doctors’ mail and sorting mail received from the post office
- Frank letters that need to be posted to patients from the credit Control department
Skills:
- Technical skills related to pre‐hospital emergency medical care qualification
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal relationship skills
